Needler Chiropractic, in Columbus Grove, Ohio, was founded by Dr. Richard Needler in 1964, our office has always been a family business. It is now staffed by 2nd and 3rd generation Chiropractors, Dr. John Needler and Dr. Hannah Needler, along with Dr. Larry Halters, and Dr. Cory Meuleman. As a family of chiropractors, we provide the same care to our patients that we do for ourselves and our children. Over the years the office has expanded its services and has recently expanded its building with a whole new remodel! Our goal has always remained the same over the 60 years we have been in practice, enhancing our patients’ wellness without the use of drugs or surgery.
Meet The Doctors
Dr. John Needler
Dr. John Needler graduated from National College of Chiropractic, in Lombard, IL, and completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Toledo. Dr. John Needler started his practice with his father, Dr. Richard E. Needler, and has always had the gift of healing. Dr. John Needler has a very expansive set of certifications and a broad range of knowledge, which he uses with his patients to help them obtain optimal health. Not only does he work with the alignment of the body, but also with nutrition, digestive issues, specific supplementation, comprehensive testing, and much more.
John is known to his family and colleagues as an ever-learning student. John is deeply committed to his family and community. He is a proud Columbus Grove High School Bulldog and can be seen at many sporting events wearing his volunteer firefighter jacket.
Dr. Hannah Needler
Dr. Hannah Needler graduated from Life University, in Marietta, GA in 2009. As a third generation Chiropractor, Dr. Hannah Needler has been immersed in the Chiropractic model her entire life and centers her practice largely on families with specialized care from pregnancy thru adulthood. She works closely with her patients not only providing holistic care but forming long-lasting relationships as well.
Dr. Hannah Needler’s techniques include: Webster, Bagnell, SOT craniosacral, instrument adjusting, Applied Kinesiology, and drop table adjusting. Her specialties are pregnancy, post-birth for mom and baby, latch and breastfeeding issues, colic and reflux, and homeopathy.
Dr. Larry Halters
Dr. Larry Halters was born and raised in West Tennessee. He got his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. He then attended Life University where he got his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2009. While attending Life University, he met his wife Hannah, and they were married the day after graduation and now have two wonderful kids. Dr. Larry Halters became a Diplomate of Medical Acupuncture in 2012. He joined Needler Chiropractic in 2013. He is in the process of getting certified in the treatment of scoliosis. Dr. Larry Halters has completed all the CLEAR Institute scoliosis courses.
Dr. Cory Meuleman
Dr. Cory Meuleman earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Ga where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also holds a bachelor of science degree in exercise science, and a minor in nutrition from Ashland University in Ashland, Oh. Dr. Cory Meuleman comes from an athletic background, competing in multiple sports in high school, and a member of the track team at Ashland University. Finding most of his athletic success competing in the throwing events in track and field, he was a 2-time state champion for Columbus Grove High School, and a 3-time NCAA Division II All-American while at Ashland University. This involvement in sports and competition is what sparked his interest and passion for nutrition and human performance.
Dr. Cory Meuleman blends treatment, techniques, and modalities to suit each patient, recognizing every patient is different, and so is their issue. He uses chiropractic care, soft tissue techniques, functional movement tests, and nutrition to create patient specific and goal oriented treatment plans. The chiropractic techniques which are used include Pierce Results System, Thompson, Torque Release Technique, Gonstead, and Activator. Dr. Cory Meuleman is a Pierce Results System certified practitioner, and also holds certifications in Fascial Abrasion Technique and Fascial Movement Taping.
In his spare time, you can find Cory volunteering for animal rescue organizations, spending time with his family, and traveling with his wife.
